Description
I am furious about the proposed “rightsizing” of Sunnyside Environmental School, (“At raucous rally, Portland parents, teachers and students protest school closures,” Oct. 6). Recently, I asked fellow Sunnyside parents I know to speak up if they make $344,792 a year and have a $9,000 annual car budget in our walkable, bike friendly city. Not one hand went up. Yet that’s the salary and one of many perks for our PPS superintendent.
