Description
We commend Oregon legislators for increasing investment in the Earned Income Tax Credit through Senate Bill 1507. However, this expanded tax credit for low-income families depends heavily on a related program which did not receive any funding this year – the Department of Human Services Tax Infrastructure Grant Program. Unless Gov. Tina Kotek adds funding back in, the program will be gone.
