Letter writer Bill Merritt argues that the majority of American voters knew what they were voting for regarding immigration in 2024, (“Readers respond: Opposing winning policies is undemocratic,” Feb. 8). Yet the winning candidate, now President Donald Trump, consistently disavowed knowing anything about Project 2025, which appears to have guided his behavior since inauguration day.
