For anyone wondering why we really invaded Venezuela, Vice President JD Vance already provided the answer in a tweet on Jan. 3: “The stolen oil must be returned to the United States.” In other words, Venezuela must return oil in its territory because the Trump government claims the oil belongs to the U.S.
