Description
A reported shooting in Sandy on Sunday evening has drawn a large response from police and medical personnel.
In a post on Facebook, the Sandy Police Department wrote its officers, joined by police from “other agencies” had responded to a domestic disturbance and reported shooting.
“The area is not safe and we ask that everyone stay out of the area,” the post read. “Residents in the area should lock their doors and remain inside. More information will follow.”
The shooting occurred in the 39500 block of Evans Street, according to the post.
Activity on first-responder logs showed multiple ambulances have responded to the scene.
