The City of Coos Bay’s Transportation and Facilities Department will perform road repairs at the intersection of Curtis Avenue and North 3rd Street beginning the morning of Thursday, August 27, 2026. The intersection will be closed while the work is underway, and traffic control measures will be in place. Motorists and pedestrians are asked to use caution in the area and follow all posted signs and directions. The work is anticipated to be completed, and the intersection reopened, by 5:30 p.m. that evening. We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation while this maintenance work is completed.
