Rogue Valley After 5 Club: Energy, Growth, and Pub Hopping

District Governor Chris Waugh visited the Rogue Valley After 5 Club at the Copper Plank, with the meeting starting at 6 pm. The energy in the room was remarkable. It felt like a happy hour with a lot of friends.

The club recently organized a cleanup project at the train park, and 72 volunteers pitched in.

Membership Chair Kelly Taylor led a highly successful recruitment event. The club has gained 10 new members this year. Now at about 30 members, this club has a younger demographic and strong energy and engagement. Each member seems to play a vital role in the club's vitality.

After the meeting, the Board adjourned to another pub a few blocks away. Governor Waugh came as a guest, and he was not the only guest. President Kjell Moline ran an efficient meeting, and the group spent time socializing.

Treasurer Heather Sostick uses the DACdb Finance Module to keep the club's books. Governor Waugh plans to use the same module for the new Eugene After Hours Club. It is good to know that ready and willing resources exist in other clubs.

The Rogue Valley After 5 Club sends greetings across District 5110.
