Description

The Rotary Club of Redmond was honored to host six Rotarians from Kentucky participating in the Rotary Friendship Exchange. Paul Spain, a member of the RFE Committee, graciously chaperoned our guests throughout a week filled with memorable activities, beautiful scenery, and opportunities to experience great weather and the best of Central Oregon.
Our guests enjoyed an exciting itinerary that included visits to Crater Lake, the Greater Bend Rotary Club, the Old Mill District, the High Desert Museum, Smith Rock State Park, Veterans Ranch, and Dry Canyon Arts. They also enjoyed dinner at McMenamins, a helicopter ride over Mount Bachelor, a tour of Sisters, a hike to the Whychus River, and a relaxing visit to Belknap Resort where they met hosts from Eugene. The week provided a wonderful opportunity to share the beauty of our region, strengthen Rotary connections, and build lasting friendships. We are grateful to everyone who helped make this RFE such a special experience, especially in-home hosts Tim and Renee Dugan and Joe and Jeanne Kosanovic. Rotary Friendship Exchange: building friendships and understanding, one exchange at a time!
