Despite a federal court ruling that the USDA overstepped its authority, multiple states continue enforcing SNAP food restriction waivers that limit purchases of soda and candy. Here's which states joined the list most recently and what's next.

Five months after a federal court ruled that the U.S. Department of Agriculture “exceeded its legal authority” by approving state SNAP Food Restriction Waivers, more states are moving forward with the restrictions anyway.
