BANDON — October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and it’s time to get your yearly mammogram. Southern Coos Hospital & Health Center in Bandon is offering free mammograms for those who can’t afford them.

If you schedule your mammogram during October or November at SCHHC, you will be entered into a drawing for a pink Kitchen Aid stand mixer.

You no longer need a provider’s order to schedule a mammogram. Call Southern Coos Hospital at 541-347-2426 to schedule your appointment today.

The Southern Coos Health Foundation provides free mammograms for those unable to pay, including help with co-pays. Just mention this when you schedule your appointment and it will be taken care of, no questions asked.
