Scott Valley/Fort Jones: Friday the 13th Was Anything But Unlucky!
District Governor Chris Waugh made the four-hour trek to Fort Jones on Friday, February 13th—and it was well worth the drive!
The destination? The Scott Valley/Fort Jones Rotary Club's annual Melodrama, now a beloved 15-year tradition. This year's production: "Out to Pasture – How to Get Old Without Really Trying!"
The magic of this event? The whole town gets involved. Cast, crew, audience—it's a true community celebration.
President Dee Jones shared the impressive impact: over 15 years, these melodramas have raised more than $75,000 for local projects. That's small-town Rotary at its finest!
Sometimes the best Friday the 13th is the one spent with Rotarians making a difference.
