Surveillance footage caught the intruder launching a Molotov cocktail at the showroom of the Tesla Center dealership in Salem in January, according to federal prosecutors.The man also carried and fired an AR-style rifle with a suppressor, according to the ATF.Tesla Center's general manager estimated $500,000 worth of damage at the Salem dealership.Photos from ATF and Salem police investigation.One of the Molotov Cocktail devices recovered by investigators at the scene of the dealership, according to the ATF.Four Molotov Cocktails were found on the dealership's property.

U.S. District Judge Adrienne Nelson Thursday agreed to the pretrial release of a Salem man accused of trying to firebomb a Tesla dealership but directed him to stay at a federal halfway house instead of a friend’s home.
