Daphy Michel, a 31-year-old Haitian immigrant, died of hypothermia in Pittsburgh after she was released from ICE custody in February. Her family’s attorney says a lawsuit is expected to be filed over the circumstances surrounding her death.

The family of a Haitian immigrant who died of hypothermia after being released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody in Pittsburgh plans to file a lawsuit in the coming weeks, according to the attorney representing members of her family, USA TODAY reported.
