Description
The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement at 2:50 a.m. on Tuesday in effect until 9 a.m. for Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon and Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
"Patchy dense fog with the visibility less than one quarter mile will continue over the Blue Mountain Foothills and the Lower Columbia Basin this morning. Temperatures are near to below freezing, and icy spots will be obseved due to freezing fog. Avoid cruise control and allow plenty of space between vehicles," according to the weather service.
