Springfield Rotary: Singing, Recycling Paul Harris Pins, and a Conference Theme District Governor Chris Waugh visited the Springfield Club on Wednesday, March 4th at noon, gathering at the Springfield Elks Club. True to form, Springfield is a singing club—and today's selection? "Come Fly with Me," in honor of the Governor's love of flying! 🎶✈️ Dave and Mary Jo Sanders received their Paul Harris +2 pins. Mary Jo, now with three PH pins, raised an excellent question: "Why don't we recycle our older pins?" Great food for thought! Dave Sanders also contributed the theme for this year's District Conference: "Rotary, take a look—we're more than you think." Love it! President Bob Schutte (left) requested awards for Debi Bennett, Jay Zink, and Rae LaMarche. Luke McAllister earned the club Rock Star award for his work as Club Administration Committee Chair. Another wonderful visit in the books! #Rotary #SpringfieldRotary #SingingClub #PaulHarrisFellow #DistrictConference #MoreThanYouThink #ServiceAboveSelf #District5110
