Description

A pregnant woman, accompanied by her two-year old son, were struck by a vehicle in a parking lot at Rockaway Beach Wayside, Tillamook Co., Sunday, March 22, 2026.  According to reports, her husband, while confronting the female driver of the Jeep Patriot over the accident that injured his wife and child, was stabbed in the back by another male who got out of the suspect vehicle and attacked him. The assault occurred about 1:15 p.m. The suspect and the driver got back in the Jeep and sped away.  However, the female came back on foot and cooperated with law enforcement.  The stabbed victim was taken to a local hospital and was expected to recover.  The 25-year old suspect was located later and taken into custody and lodged at the Tillamook County Jail, Tillamook on charges of First-Degree Assault, Menacing, Unlawful Use of a Weapon & Disorderly Conduct. The victim and suspects were not identified by law enforcement.
