Sewer System Repairs on North 9th Street, CB

On Monday, May 11, 2026, City staff will be repairing the sewer system in the 700 block North 9th Street. Work will be concentrated to the west side of the roadway and sidewalk. The street will be open for local access only. Minor delays should be expected. Work will start after 8:00 am and end no later than 5:30 pm. Repairs are expected to be completed by Friday, May 22. Water Main Replacement, Harris Ave., CB

The Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board will be installing new waterline, water services, and fire hydrants on Harris Ave between N Marple St and N Wasson St in Coos Bay. Work is planned to begin on May 11th and continue until May 17th. The construction activities will include a combination of closures and temporary flagging. Work is scheduled to occur from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. The Water Board requests that citizens use caution when passing through the construction zones.
