Southwestern Oregon’s baseball team dropped an NWAC doubleheaders to Mt. Hood, 1-0, 4-3, Saturday, March 21st, at Gresham. The Lakers (4-8, 12-11) host Umpqua, Wednesday, March 25, noon & 3 p.m., on the Coos Bay Campus. Southwestern Oregon’s softball team got a split with Mt. Hood, Saturday. Lakers (5-1, 13-1) won the opener 6-4, but lost the second game, 5-3, their first loss of the 2026 season. Up next is Lower Columbia, at home, Tuesday, March 24, 2 & 4 p.m.
