Description
City of Coos Bay release - The City has contracted with Knife River Materials for the 2025 Spring Pothole Repair Project. Work will consist of the repairs of 29 potholes at various locations throughout the city. These repairs will typically require a lane closure with flaggers present to control the flow of traffic through the job sites. However, one portion of the project will require that one intersection be closed to facilitate the repairs. The intersection on S. 11th Street & Elrod Avenue will be closed to thru traffic on June 3, 2025 from 8:00am until 5:00pm, with detour routes posted. Please slow down and use caution and be patient when near the construction zone. Should you have questions, please feel free to contact Public Works Operations Administrator Greg Hamblet at (541)269-1181 ext. 3541 or email [email protected].
