City of Coos Bay release - The City has contracted with Knife River Materials to complete the 2025 Fall Street Repair Project. The final two road repair sections are scheduled as follows: Coos River Highway: From approximately 750 feet west of 16th Avenue to 10th Court — Thursday, October 2, 2025. One lane of travel will remain open with flaggers controlling traffic. Through traffic will be restricted. Cedar Drive: From 16th Avenue to the end of the street — Friday, October 3, 2025. Local access will be maintained for residents only. Work Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. each day. The City asks all drivers to slow down, use caution, and be patient when traveling near construction zones.
