City of Coos Bay release - The City has contracted with Knife River Materials to complete the 2025 Fall Street Repair Project. The final two road repair sections are scheduled as follows: Coos River Highway: From approximately 750 feet west of 16th Avenue to 10th Court — Thursday, October 2, 2025. One lane of travel will remain open with flaggers controlling traffic. Through traffic will be restricted. Cedar Drive: From 16th Avenue to the end of the street — Friday, October 3, 2025. Local access will be maintained for residents only. Work Hours: 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. each day. The City asks all drivers to slow down, use caution, and be patient when traveling near construction zones. Thank you for your cooperation as we work to improve our community’s streets.
