Description
CCSO release - On August 27, 2026, Oregon State Police had conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The operator and vehicle were known to SCINT in regards to the distributions of illegal narcotics in the Coos County Area. SCINT was contacted and arrived on scene to assist. K9 Tex was deployed on the vehicle and indicated a positive alert. With what Oregon State Police Troopers observed on the traffic stop and the positive alert by K9 Tex, they applied for and was granted a search warrant. During a search of the vehicle over two pounds of methamphetamine, and substantial amounts of Fentanyl and Heroin were located, along with packaging material and a firearm. We appreciate the hard work by Oregon State Police and the phone call to come assist. This also allows us to formally introduce K9 Tex who has been training and ready to go.
