Description

Trail camera video from a marshy wetland in Beaverton shows a bobcat using a beaver dam as a bridge at a site just off the busy four-lane SW Barnes Road, near a paved walking path, apartment buildings and dental clinics. At 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16, the bobcat walks away from the camera across the top of the dam, heads up a grassy hill toward Barnes Road and disappears into the distance. At 5:04 a.m., it returns over the dam, walking straight toward the camera. Coincidentally, a few minutes later, at 5:11 a.m., a coyote is spotted walking over the top of a nearby culvert that runs under Barnes Road.
