Description

Oregon voters queue up to insert their ballots in officials drop boxes. One Portland-area county broke a 28-year record for turnout this May.

Nearly 45% of Clackamas County’s registered voters cast ballots in this year’s primary, setting a 28-year record for a non-presidential May election. It was the highest ever in the vote by mail era, County Clerk Catherine McMullen said.
