Ribeye, fried shrimp and barbecue chicken tacos at Tope, a rooftop taqueria atop the Hoxton in Portland's Chinatown.

Does an onion ring belong on a taco? Adán Fausto thinks so. The Hoxton’s new executive chef says the golden rings adorning the ribeye tacos at the hotel’s rooftop margarita bar are a wink at the James Beard-approved onion rings at Ringside Steakhouse up West Burnside Street. “Plus,” he says, “beef and onions just taste good.”
