Description
This Thanksgiving we’re thankful for our community, family and friends, and stretchy pants. Our Administrative Offices are closed for the day. Patrol and Corrections Deputies are working their regular shifts and wish you a safe and happy Thanksgiving!
A few friendly reminders as you get ready for the big feast:
- Make sure the turkey is the only thing getting baked. Stay sober if you’re getting behind the wheel.
- Preparing a big meal isn’t the only thing that can be stressful this week. Holidays can be tough for different reasons. Take time to check in with others, especially if you are concerned about them or know they are having a hard time.
- Speeding to get to Grandma’s house? Slow down - a ticket is not what she had in mind when she asked if you could bring napkins.
- Take time to connect with loved ones. Though we’re just a 911 call away, your friends and family really are more fun to share the day with.
