Three members of the Portland Winterhawks heard their names called during the 2025 NHL Draft on Saturday.
Defender Max Pšenička was taken in the second round with the 46th overall pick to the Utah Mammoth. An 18-year-old from Czechia, the Winterhawks traded for Pšenička in October 2024 and has been a regular contributor in Portland since Jan. 24. In 24 games, he’s scored one goal and recorded six assists.
