North Bend is holding an "Oregon Votes Town Hall" on Thursday, Sept. 24, with Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read joining Coos County Clerk Julie Brecke for what organizers described as a nonpartisan discussion about voting in Oregon. The town hall will focus on how elections are run in Oregon and what voters need to know to ensure their votes are counted. The conversation will be moderated by Alice Carlson from the League of Women Voters of Coos County.
