Last Thursday, Gov. Tina Kotek greeted the remaining 100 Oregon National Guard members who returned to the state under her control after being demobilized from federal control at Fort Bliss in Texas.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has set the week of June 1 for oral argument in the federal government’s appeal of an Oregon federal judge’s injunction that blocked the deployment of National Guard troops to Portland.
