Portland State almost upset heavy favorite UC Davis.

HILLSBORO - (AP) Treynor Cleeland threw two touchdown passes and Jordan Fisher ran for two scores, and UC Davis overcame a 21-point deficit to beat Portland State 34-21 in a season and Big Sky Conference opener on Saturday.
