Congratulations to Deputy Stroming for recently completing Patrol training! Lane County Sheriff’s deputies assigned to Patrol must complete the Field Training and Evaluation Process (FTEP). They also attend Basic Police Academy at the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training. Deputy Stroming has been with the Sheriff's Office for 9 years and reassigned to Patrol after working in the Lane County Jail. While at the jail, he served as a Field Training Officer, was a member of the Special Operations Response Team (SORT), and continues to serve on the Peer Support Team.
