Miguel García Pazaran y Dulce María Trejo Segura, mostrados aquí con su hija Sofía, fueron arrestados por agentes de inmigración el 8 de diciembre en Oregón y deportados a México ocho días después, sin su hija, ahora al cuidado de la hermana de García Pazaran.

Era un día laboral típico antes del amanecer cuando Miguel García Pazaran llevó a su esposa, Dulce María Trejo Segura, desde su apartamento en Hillsboro a su trabajo en una fábrica de carne seca en Forest Grove.
