Oregon’s volleyball team lost Friday, 3-1 at No. 18 Indiana, but came back on Saturday and beat No. 9 Purdue, 3-2, at West Lafayette, IN. The Ducks (6-10, 15-11) host USC, Wednesday, Nov. 19, 7:30 p.m., Matthew Knight Arena, Eugene, televised on the Big Ten Network.

Oregon’s women’s basketball team improved to 4-0 Sunday with an 80-55 win over Army, Matthew Knight Arena, Eugene. The Ducks play at Washington State, Wednesday, Nov. 19, 4 p.m., televised on ESPN+.

At the NCAA West Region Cross-Country Championships, Friday, Sacramento, CA, Oregon’s men took first and the Duck women were second. Next up is the NCAA Championships, Saturday, Nov. 22, 7:20 a.m., Columbia, MO, televised on ESPNU. UO release - In the second race of the morning, the UO men placed four inside the top 11 on their way to winning a 10th regional title—first under head coach Jerry Schumacher—and clinching their 46th appearance at the NCAA Championships. The Women of Oregon placed its top four inside the top 12 and secured their 35th national appearance. Abdel Laadjel, the Big Ten individual champion, finished sixth (29:28.2) in the first 10K of the season. He led a quartet of Ducks that crossed the finish within four seconds of one another. Laadjel was just ahead of Simeon Birnbaum (29:28.4) in seventh place, followed by Aiden Smith (29:31.1) and Michael Mireles (29:33.6) in eighth and 11th, respectively. Connor Burns rounded out the UO top five in 23rd place overall, good for a fifth all-region performer for the men. Benjamin Balazs and Tayson Echohawk were the sixth and seventh Ducks across the finish. All seven Oregon men finished inside the top 35. On the women's side, Diana Cherotich and Silan Ayyildiz finished 2-3 and were joined in the top 10 by Anika Thompson, who ran in high school at Junction City. Cherotich, the Big Ten champion, posted a final time of 19:12.6 followed Ayyildiz in 19:16.8 and Thompson in 19:48.0. Mia Barnett was the fourth UO runner across the line, clocking in at 19:58.2 to finished 12th overall, good for all-region honors. Ali Ince (20:48.9) and Katie Clute (20:51.1) finished in 49th and 52nd place, respectively, to give Oregon its fifth and sixth runners on the board. Allura Markow, in her NCAA regional debut, finished in 21:30.5, and 86th place overall.

ESPN's College Game Day returns to Eugene

UO release - EUGENE, Ore. — ESPN's "College GameDay" pregame show will make its second trip to Eugene this season and 14th all-time ahead of the Oregon football team's top-25 matchup against USC on Saturday in Autzen Stadium. The game will be televised by CBS, with kickoff scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Oregon will be featured on the popular pregame show for the third time this season. "College GameDay" was produced from the site of the Ducks' double-overtime win at Penn State in Week 5, and then came to Eugene on Oct. 11 when Oregon hosted Indiana on Oct. 11. This marks the first time since 2007 that "College GameDay" has traveled to Eugene twice in the same season. No. 8 Oregon (9-1, 6-1 Big Ten) will host No. 17 USC (8-2, 6-1 Big Ten) for the first time since 2023. The Ducks have won three straight against the Trojans and five of the last six meetings. The Ducks are 20-14 all-time when playing in a game featured by "College GameDay," including 9-4 at home. The set for "College GameDay" will again be situated on the Memorial Quad on the University of Oregon campus. More details on the production will be announced as they become available.

The Ducks (6-1, 9-1) have two games remaining in the regular season, at home to USC (6-1, 8-2), Saturday, Nov. 22, 12:30 p.m., and at Washington (4-3, 7-3), Nov. 29, time to be determined, Seattle, WA.
