UPDATE:  Glen Burkhow is now back in custody.    
  
While out patrolling at 8:11pm, Sheriff Ward located Burkhow on 11th Street in Gold Beach. Burkhow took off running again and Sheriff called for a cover unit.  Gold Beach Police arrived and assisted in apprehending Burkhow in heavy brush behind a residence off 11th Street.  An ambulance was requested along with the Gold Beach Fire Department to get Burkhow  back out of the brushy area. Burkhow was transported by ambulance to Curry General Hospital.  Once he gets medically cleared, he will be returning to the custody of the Curry County Jail.
