Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on July 15, 2026, announced that the U.S. Mint will begin producing a 250th anniversary gold coin featuring President Donald Trump's likeness.

The U.S. Mint will begin taking orders for President Donald Trump $1 gold coins from noon ET on Wednesday, Sept. 2.
