U.S. Rep. Maxine Dexter, D-Ore., said she plans to travel to a Texas detention center to see an Oregon family recently detained outside a Portland hospital ER. They're being held in the same facility where Liam Ramos was held. U.S. Rep. Maxine Dexter, a Democrat who represents Oregon’s 3rd District, said she’s planning to travel to a Texas detention center later this week to visit the 7-year-old Gresham girl and her parents who have been held there for over two weeks.
