U.S. Rep. Maxine Dexter, D-Ore., said she plans to travel to a Texas detention center to see an Oregon family recently detained outside a Portland hospital ER. They're being held in the same facility where Liam Ramos was held. Here, orotesters gather outside the South Texas Family Residential Center detention facility where Liam Ramos and his father were detained in Dilley, Texas.

U.S. Rep. Maxine Dexter, a Democrat who represents Oregon’s 3rd District, said she’s planning to travel to a Texas detention center later this week to visit the 7-year-old Gresham girl and her parents who have been held there for over two weeks.
