Tillamook’s Griffyn Boomer is The Oregonian/OregonLive football player of the week for the week of Sept. 8, as voted by subscribers.

Boomer was a spark for the Cheesemakers in a close 33-26 victory against La Grande on Sept. 12. The senior receiver had 12 catches for 176 yards and four touchdowns against the Tigers.
