The Wake Forest Demon Deacons begin their second season under head coach Jake Dickert tonight when they host the Akron Zips in Winston-Salem. Wake Forest enters the opener after ending last season with a bowl victory over Mississippi State, while Akron looks to carry momentum from wins in three of its final four games. The kick is scheduled for 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET (5 p.m. MST) on Thursday, September 3, and is broadcast on the ACC Network and is streaming live on ESPN Unlimited.
