Oregon State head coach Wayne Tinkle as the Beavers face the Oregon Ducks in a men’s college basketball game on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis.

LAS VEGAS — Before and after every game at Gill Coliseum, Wayne Tinkle recognizes Oregon State’s band. As the Beavers’ 12th-year coach left the court of Orleans Arena victorious, extending his tenure at Oregon State for at least one more night, he turned to the collection of orange and black-clad percussionists and wind instrument players and let out a yell, then turned towards the fans behind OSU’s bench and gave them an applause before heading to the locker room.
