On Friday at 2:39 a.m. a special weather statement was released by the National Weather Service until 8 a.m. for Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon and Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
"Patchy dense fog is reducing visibilities to one-quarter mile or less along portions of I-84, I-90, US 395, US 12, and OR 11. Expect rapid changes in visibility over short distances, slow down, use low-beam headlights, and allow extra braking distance," adds the weather service.
