On Sunday at 7:43 a.m. the National Weather Service released a special weather statement until 11 a.m. for Eastern Columbia River Gorge of Oregon.
"Patchy dense fog will reduce visibilities to one-half mile or less this morning. If you encounter dense fog, slow down and allow for extra space between your vehicle and those around you. Fog should dissipate by early afternoon," comments the weather service.
