On Monday at 5:11 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement until 10 a.m. for Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
"Visibilities of less than a half mile with light to moderate snow fall will continue for the next few hours along Interstate 84 across the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon. Visibilities will remain obscured through at least the morning hours. Safe driving habits should be practiced that includes leaving extra space from the cars in front," according to the weather service.
