
THE DALLES, Ore. – A West Richland man was declared deceased at the scene of a crash involving a government vehicle on Interstate 84 in Oregon that occurred on Tuesday, Oregon State Police troopers said.According to Oregon State Police, at about 11:51 a.m. on April 14, troopers were called out to a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 near The Dalles. Troopers said they arrived to find a motorcyclist had crashed into the rear of an Oregon Department of Transportation vehicle.According to OSP, their initial investigation found the ODOT vehicle had been stationary in the left lane to protect a sweeper vehicle ahead of it from crashes. OSP said the motorcyclist, identified as Ryan Christopher King, 38, of West Richland was declared deceased at the scene.
