Three of the four children celebrated their birthdays in Oregon City while their single mother was detained at the immigration detention center in Tacoma.

When Nicole Preciado suddenly found herself with four more children at home on top of her two kids, she scrambled to turn the garage into a bedroom so everyone would have a place to sleep.
