A century-old cottage on Ashland’s A Street was once the home of environmentalist Gary Powell, who knocked on doors to promote protecting wild rivers and public lands. He volunteered with the Klamath Siskiyou Wildlands Center, better known as KS Wild, and later gifted his home to the nonprofit.
