The Three Sisters cabin, owned by one family for 82 years, will be open during the 20th anniversary of the Mount Hood Steiner Cabins Tour Aug. 9, 2025.The cabin was named to honor the Nizics’ three daughters: from left to right, Barbara (who married Jack O’Brien), Harriet (who married Tom Gorman) and Sister Patricia Nizic, a Sister of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary.Five generations of the Nizic family have enjoyed time at The Three Sisters cabin. No other home tour can offer this: Entry to Mount Hood log cabins that were built during the Depression by the Steiner family of carpenters and stonemasons and that have been treasured by owners for generations.
