Bradley Cole , 69, of Milwaukie, was fatally beaten during a brief visit to Lincoln City when a stranger stole his dog Callie just outside a hotel he came to stay at with his wife for their 37th wedding anniversary, according to police.

The widow of a Milwaukie man fatally beaten on an anniversary getaway to Lincoln City in 2024 has reached a seven-figure settlement with the Oregon coast hotel where the suspect was staying.
