On Wednesday at 1:29 a.m. the National Weather Service released a wind advisory valid from 1 p.m. until Thursday 1 a.m. for Eastern Columbia River Gorge of Oregon, Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon, Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon, Foothills of the Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon and North Central Oregon.

The weather service informs, "West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected."
