The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 2:44 p.m. on Wednesday valid from Thursday 10 a.m. until Friday 1 a.m. for Eastern Columbia River Gorge of Oregon, Lower Columbia Basin of Oregon, Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon, Foothills of the Southern Blue Mountains of Oregon, North Central Oregon and Central Oregon.
The weather service comments, "Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations around one tenth of an inch."
