On Wednesday at 11:41 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory valid from 7 p.m. until Thursday 10 p.m. for Northern Blue Mountains of Oregon.
“Snow showers expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph,” says the weather service. “Snow levels are forecast to drop as low as 2500 feet Thursday morning. Total snow accumulations of up to 6 inches are forecast below 4000 feet.”
