The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 9:59 a.m. on Tuesday valid from Wednesday 5 a.m. until Thursday 5 p.m. for North Oregon Cascades.

The weather service informs, "Snow expected above 3000 feet. Total snow accumulations between 5 to 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph."
